The LED Light Does Not Turn On, What’s Wrong?
There is a small plastic disk underneath the batteries to prevent the light from turning on during shipment. Remove this disk, replace the batteries + side up, and it will work.
I’ve pulled the plastic disk out and it still will not turn on?
If this is the case, you will have to purchase a new battery. These are called lithium coin cell batteries and can be purchased online or at any dollar store or WalMart/Target for less than $1.
How many applications are in the kit?
There is enough gel in the dispenser (Syringe) for 7-10 daily whitening applications.
How old do you have to be before you can use the kit?
14 years of age is the recommended age.
Does this product cause any sensitivity?
Because we only recommend keeping the trays in your mouth for 30 minutes at a time, there should be no sensitivity issues. If there is any, it would be minimal, plus we recommend applying vitamin E oil on a Qtip along your gumline right before you insert mouth tray. Wipe off excess gel from your gums to avoid irritation.

What is the percentage of carbamide peroxide and what are the ingredients in the gel?
36% carbamide peroxide(the strongest over the counter formula sold) that is still safe to use on the teeth. Ingredients are carbamide peroxide, glycerin, water and potassium nitrate. This product is also enamel safe and FDA regulated to insure your safety.
How long do I have to wear the trays at a time?
We recommend 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your sensitivity level. Start with 30 minutes and if comfortable, continue for the full hour. Use once a day for 10-14 consecutive days. Do not exceed 1 hour applications.
How long does the product last?
Depending on each person’s lifestyle and eating habits, the longevity of the product lasting will vary. Typically speaking you should see results last 6 months to a year if you brush your teeth twice a day.
Do you have to hold the Blue LED light for 30 to 60 minutes?
No you do not have to hold the Blue LED light. It will stay in place when inserted properly.
Is the kit reusable by simply purchasing more gel, or does it require an entirely new kit to use it for a 2nd go-round?
The kit can be used over and over for multiple times. All you ever have to do is purchase more gel refills.
How to use Pen and Molding Mouth Trays?
Q: PEN: How long should I keep the gel on?
A: The Express Smile pen is worn for only 20 minutes a day. It can be used for up to 10 days in a row.

A: Each pen has 10 treatments.
Q: PEN: What should I do with left over gel?
A: Store your pens in a dry cool place. Each box has a expiration date.
Q: PEN: What are the ingredients?
A: 12% Hydrogen Peroxide, Propylene Glycol, Kosher Glycerine, Peppermint essential oil, Triethanolamine, deionized water, Xylitol
Steps to molding the thermo-fitting mouth trays?
A: Bring 4 inches of water to a boil and remove from heat to cool for 6-7 minutes.
Submerge one of the mouth trays into the hot water for 10-12 seconds until tray appears soft. (Important: for best results do not overheat mouth trays)
Place the mouth tray into your mouth covering your upper teeth.
Close your mouth and suck all the air and excess water from the tray, creating suction between the tray and your teeth.
Gently push the tray against the front of your teeth by pushing against your upper lip.
Wait 12-15 seconds before removing the tray from your mouth.
Place the mouth tray into a cup of cold water for 12 seconds to complete curing process.
Repeat steps for lower mouth tray.
Q: KIT: Trim the trays to the correct size?
A: After molding both mouth trays, use scissors to cut any excess material from the tops of the trays at the gum-line. Trimming the trays at the gum line will avoid any possible tissue irritation.
Use scissors to cut the finger tabs from both trays.
Q: KIT: Whitening your teeth
A: Place a small drop of gel onto each tooth impression on the upper and lower mouth trays. (Do not overload trays; a little goes a long way.)
Put gentle pressure on the upper mouth tray by pushing on your upper lip with your fingers in order to ensure a tight fit. Do the same on the lower mouth tray.
Wear trays for approximately 20-30 minutes.
For faster results place the LED light in front of your trays to activate gel.
Once the time is completed, remove mouth trays and rinse out your mouth.
Rinse trays in lukewarm water and store in a clean dry place.
Repeat daily until desired shade is achieved.
